Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
The short version: Mouse Scroll Plus runs entirely on your Mac. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party trackers, and it makes no network connections. The developer never sees anything.
What data Mouse Scroll Plus stores
Mouse Scroll Plus saves only your own preferences, locally on your Mac:
- Your scrolling settings (speed, smoothness, reverse, acceleration, momentum, and related options).
- Your button mappings and per-app rules.
- The optional nickname you give your mouse and your chosen display language.
These are stored in the app's standard preferences on your device. They never leave your Mac.
What the developer collects
Nothing. The developer (CorvusDevs) does not collect, receive, store, or have access to any information about you or how you use the app. There are no analytics, no crash-reporting services, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.
Network access
Mouse Scroll Plus makes no network requests. It works fully offline. The only links in the app open your browser or email client when you choose to visit the website or send feedback.
Accessibility permission
Mouse Scroll Plus needs macOS Accessibility permission so it can read and reshape mouse-wheel and button events. This processing happens entirely on your Mac in real time. No input, event, or usage data is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
Accounts and sign-in
There is no account, no sign-in, and no email address required. You install the app and it works.
Children
Mouse Scroll Plus is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the changes in the app's release notes.
