Privacy Policy

Short version: Stow does not collect, track, sell, or transmit your personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.

What Stow collects

Nothing. Stow works with files you choose on your device. Your archive contents, file names, passwords, settings, and work queue remain on your device.

How files are accessed

Stow accesses files only after you choose them or grant a folder permission. On Mac, it may remember a folder permission that you explicitly granted so it can write the result there again. You can revoke those permissions in macOS settings or by choosing a different location.

Passwords and encrypted archives

If you choose to save a default archive password on Mac, Stow stores it in the Apple Keychain. It is not sent to CorvusDevs or to any other service. Passwords that you enter for a single archive are used only to perform that archive operation.

Network and third parties

Stow's archive features do not contact servers operated by CorvusDevs or third parties. Tapping a support email link opens your chosen mail app, which then handles any message you decide to send. If you request an App Store rating, Apple handles that request through its system service.

App Store information

Apple may process information related to downloading, purchasing, or reviewing the app under its own privacy policy. CorvusDevs does not receive your Apple Account information from Stow.

Children

Stow collects no information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated policy will appear here with a new date.
