Something not working, or an idea for the app? Email corvusdevs@outlook.com and include your app version (Settings, About) so a fix can be aimed at the right build.

Getting your music in

There are four ways, all under Settings or the Import screen:

Supported formats

MP3, AAC and M4A, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF and Opus, anything the device itself can decode.

Common questions

My songs show the wrong name or no artwork. The app reads the tags embedded in the file. Use the built-in tag editor to correct them, or the auto-tagger to identify a track by listening to it.

Lyrics do not appear. Lyrics come from the free LRClib database and it does not have every track, especially rarer releases. Where lyrics stop before the song ends, or during an instrumental, the app shows a pulsing note rather than freezing on the last line.

Lyrics are slightly ahead or behind. Open the full lyrics view and use the timing control to nudge them. The offset is remembered per song.

Songs are at different volumes. Turn on ReplayGain in Settings. It uses volume information stored in your files where present.

Wi-Fi Sharing will not connect. Both devices must be on the same network, and iOS will ask permission for local network access the first time. If you declined it, re-enable it in the iOS Settings app under Corvus Music.

I deleted a song by accident. Removing a song from the library also deletes the file from the device, and that cannot be undone. Re-import it from your original copy.
