Privacy policy
CorvusDevs does not collect data from Corvus Recall. Your library stays on your device unless you choose an export, an optional iCloud feature, or a peer-to-peer study session.
Data stored on your device
Corvus Recall stores decks, cards, images, recordings, study schedules, review history, preferences, backups, and recovery snapshots locally. This information is not sent to CorvusDevs.
Photos, documents, camera, and microphone
The app accesses a photo, document, camera scan, or microphone only after you choose the corresponding action. Text and handwriting recognition run on the device. Recordings and imported media become part of your local library or an export you request.
Optional iCloud features
Private iCloud Backup and Continuous iCloud Sync are off by default. When enabled, Corvus Recall writes an encrypted-by-Apple app document to the private iCloud Drive container associated with your Apple Account. CorvusDevs does not operate this storage and cannot access its contents.
Nearby Study and SharePlay
Nearby Study runs only when you open it. It advertises an anonymous Corvus Recall identifier and exchanges the active card prompt, answer, and navigation messages over an encrypted peer-to-peer session. SharePlay uses Apple's Group Activities services. CorvusDevs does not receive these sessions.
Notifications
Study reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Corvus Recall does not use a developer push-notification server.
Accounts, analytics, advertising, and tracking
Corvus Recall has no developer account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking technology, or third-party software package. CorvusDevs does not sell or share personal data from the app because the app does not collect it.
Exports and deletion
Exports are created only when you request them and are saved to a destination you choose. You can delete local app data from Settings or by removing the app. Copies you exported and optional iCloud documents must be removed from their chosen locations separately.
