Our Commitment

Auto Mute Tab is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data Collection

Auto Mute Tab does not collect any data. Specifically:

• No analytics or telemetry — We do not track how you use the extension
• No personal information — We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, Twitch usernames, or device identifiers
• No third-party tracking — We do not embed advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or tracking pixels
• Local storage only — Your settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Safari's extension storage and are never sent to any server

Third-Party Services

Auto Mute Tab connects to the following third-party APIs to load emote data:

• BetterTTV API (api.betterttv.net) — To fetch BetterTTV emotes
• FrankerFaceZ API (api.frankerfacez.com) — To fetch FrankerFaceZ emotes
• 7TV API (7tv.io) — To fetch 7TV emotes and cosmetics
• Pronouns API (pronouns.alejo.io) — To fetch user pronouns (when enabled)

These requests are made directly from your browser to the respective services. We do not proxy, log, or intercept these requests. Please refer to each service's own privacy policy for how they handle requests.

Twitch Account

Auto Mute Tab does not access your Twitch account credentials. The extension operates by modifying the Twitch web page in your browser — it does not authenticate with Twitch on your behalf or store any login information.

Website

This website (hosted via GitHub Pages) does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts.

Children's Privacy

Auto Mute Tab is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
